Premises Manager Responsibilities:- Lead campus facilities, estate maintenance, and statutory compliance.
- Coordinate daily caretaking operations, capital projects, contractor tenders, and health & safety compliance across a modern campus.
- Manage the caretaking team's shift cycles and supervise external mechanical and electrical contractors.
- Track utility consumption metrics and execute a comprehensive planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule.
- Maintain immaculate, legally compliant statutory testing logs, including water safety tests, fire door integrity audits, emergency lighting diagnostics, and asbestos monitoring.
- Senior facilities management, premises leadership, or estates supervision experience (educational background preferred).
- Deep working knowledge of current health and safety legislation, COSHH guidelines, and building compliance frameworks.
- Strong administrative, communication, and budget management skills, with high computer literacy.
- Recognized professional certification (such as IOSH, NEBOSH, or a relevant trade qualification).
