Key Responsibilities

  • Teach high-quality, engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE)
  • Plan, resource, and execute lessons that foster logical problem-solving, coding proficiency, and theoretical understanding
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, preparing Key Stage 4 students for GCSE examination success
  • Contribute to department enrichment initiatives, such as coding clubs, robotics teams, and national tech competitions
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and promote an ambitious, technologically curious learning environment
  • Serve as a Form Tutor, contributing to the pastoral wellbeing and holistic development of students
  • Collaborate with department colleagues to develop innovative scheme-of-work resources and software tools
  • Support the smooth day-to-day running of the Computing department
