Music Teacher
A high-achieving Secondary School in Brighton is seeking a professional and highly organised Music Teacher to join their vibrant Creative Arts faculty. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day instructional support across multiple key stages, focusing on music theory, composition, performance studies, and digital music production. Responsibilities will include maintaining student progress records, updating school tracking systems, managing departmental correspondence, supporting attendance administration, and assisting with the organisation of school concerts, ensemble performances, and extracurricular choirs or bands.
You will also support communication with parents, students, and instrumental tutors while ensuring that information is handled professionally and confidentially at all times. Strong organisational skills are essential, as the role requires the ability to coordinate events, manage equipment tracking, and balance multiple responsibilities within a busy school environment.
The school is looking for someone who is proactive, reliable, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative creative team. Good IT skills and familiarity with music recording software are important, alongside strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements
Previous teaching or relevant instructional experience in Music up to GCSE and A-Level
