A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join a highly successful secondary school in Brighton. The school is looking for an inspiring teacher who can deliver engaging lessons across English Language and Literature while helping students develop strong communication, analytical and critical-thinking skills. This is a full-time position with an ASAP start and would suit either an experienced teacher or an ECT.
About the Role
The successful English Teacher will teach English across KS3, KS4 and KS5, delivering challenging and engaging lessons that encourage students to develop a genuine appreciation of language and literature. You will support students through GCSE and A Level study, helping them develop confidence in analysing texts, constructing arguments and expressing their ideas effectively. The successful candidate will also contribute to the wider English department and play an active role in creating a positive learning environment.
