Are you an energetic, highly creative Drama specialist eager to lead dynamic practical workshops, direct whole-school theatrical productions, and teach curriculum Drama across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5?
Our client is seeking an articulate, passionate Drama Teacher to join their thriving performing arts faculty from September. In this full-time role, you will deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4 (GCSE Drama), and Key Stage 5 (A-Level Drama & Theatre Studies / Level 3 Performing Arts).
You will guide students through practitioner methodologies (Stanislavski, Brecht, Frantic Assembly), script analysis, ensemble devisings, and technical theatre design (lighting, sound, and scenography). The department boasts a fully equipped 200-seat black box theatre, professional lighting/sound rigs, dedicated rehearsal studios, and an active co-curricular schedule including seasonal plays, musicals, and National Theatre Connections participation.
