Our client is seeking a Head of ICT & Computer Science to lead a high-performing department at a well-regarded secondary school in Bradford, starting January. This position is available on a full-time basis at an Ofsted Good secondary school.
Excellent opportunity to lead a successful, well-resourced faculty and drive digital learning across the school. The successful candidate will lead the ICT & Computer Science department, teach across Key Stages 3–4 (with KS5 desirable), and champion an ambitious curriculum that develops computational thinking, digital literacy, and real-world problem solving. You’ll line-manage staff, oversee curriculum and assessment, and spearhead enrichment such as coding clubs, competitions, and industry links.
The school is known for its inclusive ethos, high expectations, and consistently positive behaviour.
Experience and Qualifications- Specialist ICT/Computer Science teacher with a strong track record of impact
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop staff; prior TLR or middle leadership experience preferred
- Excellent subject knowledge across GCSE Computer Science/IT (A Level desirable)
- QTS/PGCE (or equivalent) and the legal right to work in the UK
- An enthusiastic, inspiring classroom practitioner with a data-informed approach
