Wayman Education is recruiting a Cluster Site Assistant to support daily operations across several primary sites in Bradford.
The Cluster Site Assistant will work with the Cluster Site Manager to deliver consistent opening/closing procedures, basic maintenance, cleaning standards and event set-up across the cluster. This role will start in January 2026, with handover and induction sessions scheduled prior to ensure continuity across the Bradford schools.

About the role
The Cluster Site Assistant will rotate between settings in the Bradford cluster, carrying out routine site checks, supporting lettings, assisting with minor repairs and ensuring grounds and internal areas are maintained to a high standard. The Cluster Site Assistant will support the roll-out of COSHH and H&S checks, log site issues and help coordinate contractor access across Bradford sites. The post suits a practical, flexible individual who can work across locations and contribute to consistent site standards across the cluster.
Key responsibilities
- Undertake daily site inspections, open/close procedures and support alarm monitoring across Bradford cluster sites.
- Perform cleaning, grounds upkeep and minor maintenance; escalate larger jobs to the Site Manager.
- Assist with setting up rooms for events and lettings, ensuring each Bradford venue meets safety and cleanliness standards.
- Maintain site logs, complete routine H&S checks and help with inventory and stock ordering.
- Liaise with staff, parents and external contractors to support cluster operations and maintain clear communication.
Person specification
- Experience in site/support roles with the ability to work independently across sites in Bradford.
- Sound H&S awareness, practical DIY ability and competency with routine checks and record-keeping.
- Reliable, flexible and able to travel between Bradford cluster sites; able to start January 2026.
