Biology Teacher Role

The successful Biology Teacher will join a dedicated Science team and teach students across KS3 and KS4. You will be responsible for delivering clear and engaging lessons, developing students’ scientific knowledge and preparing GCSE pupils for their examinations. The role would suit a teacher who enjoys making Science accessible and interesting. You will be encouraged to use practical work, demonstrations, questioning and real-world examples to help students understand complex biological concepts.

Alongside classroom teaching, you will monitor student progress, mark and assess work and contribute to departmental planning. The school expects teachers to maintain high standards while creating an environment where students feel confident asking questions and developing their understanding. There is a supportive approach to professional development, with colleagues working closely together to share effective teaching strategies and resources. Salary

The salary for this Biology Teacher position will be paid to scale on a contract to scale MPS/UPS.
