Site Supervisor
A successful Mixed Secondary School in Bournemouth is seeking a reliable and proactive Site Supervisor to join its premises team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual who enjoys working in a practical role and takes pride in maintaining safe, secure and welcoming school facilities. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the school site.
You will be responsible for opening and securing the premises, carrying out routine inspections, undertaking minor maintenance and repairs, monitoring health and safety compliance and ensuring that all school buildings and grounds remain clean, safe and fully operational.
Working closely with the Premises Manager, you will coordinate contractors, report maintenance issues, prepare facilities for examinations, school productions, parents' evenings and other events, and respond promptly to site-related issues throughout the school day.
You will also support planned maintenance projects, carry out regular health and safety checks and ensure that school security procedures are consistently maintained.
The successful candidate will have strong practical skills, excellent organisational abilities and the confidence to work independently while maintaining high standards across the school site.
