As Science Technician, your responsibilities will include:- Preparing practical equipment and materials for Science lessons.
- Setting up Biology, Chemistry and Physics experiments.
- Preparing chemical solutions safely and accurately.
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and apparatus.
- Ordering and monitoring laboratory stock.
- Ensuring laboratories comply with health and safety legislation.
- Supporting teachers during practical demonstrations where required.
- Maintaining chemical inventories and storage systems.
- Safely disposing of laboratory waste.
- Preparing practical resources for GCSE and A-Level practical assessments.
- Supporting STEM events, Science Week and enrichment activities.
