The Role

A progressive Secondary School in Bournemouth is seeking a professional, technologically minded, and highly organised Business Studies & Computer Science Teacher to join their expanding digital technologies and social sciences teams. This position is a fantastic opportunity for an educator who excels at bridging commercial strategy with computer systems architecture, working across two highly collaborative and well-resourced departments.

The successful candidate will deliver a dynamic and challenging timetable across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, preparing students for exceptional outcomes in enterprise models, marketing frameworks, and financial forecasting at GCSE, alongside software development architecture, computational logic, algorithm design, and network systems at A-Level. Beyond classroom teaching, you will be expected to construct precise student progress tracking logs, manage software license compliance parameters across the department's networks, update school tracking software, and actively lead the school’s competitive coding clubs and young enterprise schemes.

You will support crisp communication with parents, university computer science faculties, and external commercial partners, ensuring that all programming project moderation logs and student assessment profiles are processed with total accuracy. Strong administrative and organizational skills are crucial, as the role requires balancing technical debugging assistance with complex business case study preparation within a busy secondary school framework.
