We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, creative and dedicated Art Teacher to join an excellent and ambitious secondary school in Bournemouth. About the Role
As an Art Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching Art across KS3–KS4 (KS5 available for suitable candidates)
- Delivering engaging lessons that develop technical skill, creativity and critical thinking
- Supporting students with coursework, portfolios and practical assessments
- Encouraging independent artistic exploration and experimentation
- Contributing to curriculum development and collaborative departmental planning
- Leading or supporting extracurricular activities such as art clubs, workshops or competitions
- Playing an active role in school events, exhibitions and creative initiatives
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree in Art, Fine Art or a related discipline
- PGCE with QTS
- Strong creative practice and confidence in a range of artistic media
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to inspire, motivate and challenge students of all abilities
