Oracy & Sophisticated Speech Production: Cultivate a vibrant, interactive classroom environment, utilizing low-stakes speaking frameworks, authentic source materials, and targeted questioning strategies to encourage pupils to speak spontaneously and analytically in Spanish, minimizing target-language anxiety.
GCSE Performance Optimization (Grades 7–9): Guide Year 11 examination cohorts meticulously through the rigorous demands of linear terminal papers across all core skills, utilizing formative test data to isolate and eliminate subtle vocabulary gaps and maximize a high density of top-tier grades.
Targeted Support & Academic Scaffolding: Identify and target specific learning barriers within highly capable cohorts, deploying visual logic models, sentence-builder frameworks, and elegant translation structures to ensure every pupil maintains excellent progress trajectories.
Inclusive Pastoral Support: Fulfil full form tutor responsibilities within an established year group structure, supporting pupil wellbeing, managing daily registration routines, and maintaining proactive, positive communication with families.
PROFILE REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching credential, paired with a strong honours degree in Spanish Studies or Modern Foreign Languages from a reputable institution. Native or near-native target language proficiency is required.
Pedagogical Capability: A proven track record or clear capacity to deliver strong progress metrics and exceptional performance outcomes in terminal public GCSE examinations through highly structured, systematic, and explicit language pedagogy.
