An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established primary school in Birmingham on a full-time, permanent basis with an ASAP start. The Role
As Site Manager, you'll be responsible for the effective operation of the school's buildings and grounds, helping to ensure a safe and positive environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. Your responsibilities will include:
- Opening and securing the school site each day
- Carrying out routine inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs
- Coordinating contractors and monitoring external works
- Completing statutory compliance checks, including Health & Safety, fire safety, asbestos, and legionella
- Maintaining accurate compliance records and site documentation
- Ensuring the school grounds and outdoor areas remain safe, tidy, and well maintained
- Preparing facilities for school events, meetings, and community use
- Reporting larger maintenance issues and supporting future improvement projects
