A welcoming community primary school in Birmingham is looking to appoint a Site Manager on a full-time, permanent basis with an ASAP start. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced premises professional to become part of a supportive school where you'll play a key role in maintaining a safe, secure, and well-presented environment for pupils aged 4–11. The Role
- Reporting to the Headteacher and School Business Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day management of the school premises and grounds.
- Opening and securing the school each day.
- Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs.
- Managing contractors and monitoring site works.
- Completing statutory Health & Safety, fire safety, asbestos, and legionella compliance checks.
- Maintaining site records and compliance documentation.
- Inspecting the building, playgrounds, and outdoor areas to ensure they remain safe and well maintained.
- Setting up halls and classrooms for assemblies, events, and school activities.
- Supporting ongoing site improvement projects throughout the year.

The Successful Candidate
