A thriving secondary school in Birmingham is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join its successful Science Department on a full-time basis, with an ASAP start. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher to inspire students through engaging Science lessons and contribute to a positive, ambitious department. The role would suit an experienced teacher or an ECT with strong subject knowledge and a commitment to achieving excellent outcomes.
About the Role
The successful Science Teacher will deliver high-quality lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5, helping students develop their scientific knowledge, practical skills and ability to think critically. You will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons
- Teaching Science across KS3-KS5
- Supporting students through GCSE and A Level study
- Assessing and monitoring student progress
- Maintaining high standards of behaviour and classroom expectations
- Contributing to departmental planning and enrichment activities

Salary
