As the School Finance Officer you will support a wide range of financial processes and ensure the financial operations of the school run smoothly, accurately and in compliance with regulations.
Your responsibilities include:
- Processing expenditure and income transactions across multiple school accounts
- Managing purchase orders, invoices, supplier relationships and credit control
- Keeping detailed records of departmental budgets and spending
- Supporting report production for senior leaders, governors and trust finance teams
- Handling bank reconciliations, cash management and trip finances
- Supporting financial governance processes including audits and policy reviews
- Assisting with payroll checks and staff financial documentation
- Implementing and monitoring financial procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintaining organised audit-ready financial records
