A high-achieving and forward-thinking Academy in Birmingham is seeking to appoint an outstanding Maths Teacher to join its successful Mathematics department from September. The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and Key Stage 5, delivering engaging and challenging lessons that develop students' mathematical fluency, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. Students study a broad curriculum covering number, algebra, geometry, statistics, probability, and mathematical modelling, with many choosing to continue their studies at A-Level, including Further Mathematics. You will prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations while encouraging them to think critically, solve complex problems, and apply mathematical concepts with confidence.
You will also contribute to the wider life of the department through intervention programmes, STEM initiatives, maths competitions, curriculum development, and enrichment activities that inspire students to develop a genuine enthusiasm for mathematics.
