We require an inspiring, highly analytical Mathematics Teacher to deliver outstanding mathematical and quantitative instruction across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.   • GCSE & Post-16 Performance Optimization: Guide examination cohorts meticulously through the rigorous demands of linear terminal Higher and Foundation tier papers, utilizing diagnostic data tracking to eliminate persistent misconceptions and maximize high-grade retention.

  • Closing Numeracy & Progress Gaps: Identify and target learning barriers across a diverse intake of students joining at Year 10, deploying explicit mathematical intervention strategies, targeted scaffolding, and structured retrieval practice to ensure accessibility for SEND pupils while stretching high-prior-attaining mathematicians.

  • Professional Mentorship & Pastoral Care: Fulfil personal tutor responsibilities for a dedicated cohort of students, managing workplace readiness routines, supporting professional wellbeing, and maintaining proactive, positive communication with families and industry mentors.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

  • Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised equivalent teaching credential, paired with a strong honours degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative discipline from a reputable institution.

  • Pedagogical Capability: A proven track record or clear capacity to deliver strong progress metrics and exceptional performance outcomes in public examinations through highly structured, systematic, and explicit mathematics pedagogy.
