Role: Finance Officer
Location: Dudley, Birmingham
Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible
Salary: Competitive (Dependent on experience)

Environment: Collaborative school team with strong leadership and well-established administrative systems
Key Responsibilities:
Managing day-to-day financial operations, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, and invoicing.
Assisting with budget preparation, financial monitoring, and reporting.
Performing bank reconciliations and managing petty cash records.
Collaborating closely with the School Business Manager and senior leadership on financial administration.
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, audits, and school policies.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a finance, accounting, or bookkeeping role (previous experience within a school or education setting is an advantage).
Strong proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organisational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
