Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm - 6:00pm
Our client is currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join a friendly and welcoming school in Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced cleaner looking for a part-time, term-time-only position, working Monday to Friday during the afternoon.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, toilets and communal areas.
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and dusting to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Emptying bins and replenishing cleaning supplies when required.
- Ensuring the school environment remains clean, hygienic and welcoming.
- Following all relevant health and safety procedures, including COSHH guidelines.
- Reporting any maintenance, cleaning or health and safety concerns to the Site Team.
- Working effectively both independently and as part of the wider cleaning team.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Previous cleaning experience, preferably within a school, office or commercial environment.
- A strong eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards.
- The ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- A reliable, punctual and professional approach.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain and pay for
