Role Overview

This full-time, permanent position involves delivering engaging Biology lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities to teach A-Level Biology for suitably qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

Teaching: Deliver inspiring theoretical and practical Biology lessons across KS3–KS4 (and KS5 where applicable), ensuring strict adherence to lab safety standards.

Student Outcomes: Track pupil attainment, conduct targeted intervention sessions, and prepare students thoroughly for GCSE Combined Science and Triple Science examinations.

Departmental Contribution: Collaborate on scheme-of-work development, maintain lab equipment alongside technician staff, and support science clubs or STEM initiatives.

Qualifications: Relevant degree in Biology, Biological Sciences, or a related discipline alongside QTS or PGCE.
