About the Role

  • Contributing to departmental curriculum development and resource planning

  • Collaborating with colleagues within the Science department and wider school

Experience and Qualifications

The successful candidate will:

  • Hold a degree in Biology or a closely related Science subject
  • Have QTS or PGCE, or be completing an ECT programme
  • Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Biology
  • Have experience teaching secondary pupils or through ECT/placement experience
  • Be confident in planning, delivering practical lessons, and classroom management
  • Be committed to safeguarding and inclusive teaching
