An ambitious Outstanding 11β18 academy in Birmingham is seeking a Behaviour Manager to join its established pastoral team from September 2026 on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining the school's high expectations for behaviour, attendance, and student conduct. Working across Key Stages 3, 4 and the Sixth Form, you'll support students to overcome barriers to learning while helping to foster a calm, respectful, and inclusive school environment.
The Role
- Leading behaviour interventions for students requiring additional support
- Monitoring behaviour, punctuality, and attendance, identifying trends and implementing strategies for improvement
- Working closely with Heads of Year to promote positive behaviour across the school
- Supporting restorative conversations and reintegration following suspensions
- Building positive relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies
- Maintaining accurate behaviour records using the school's management information system
- Contributing to safeguarding and student wellbeing initiatives

The Successful Candidate
