  • Salary: Pro-rata salary based on the Outer London Teachers' Pay Scales (MPS/UPS).

The Role

The successful Biology Teacher will plan and deliver high-quality, engaging Biology lessons across Key Stages 3, 4 (GCSE), and 5 (A-Level). You will be immediately supported by a highly effective mentor and integrated into a collaborative Science team to ensure a smooth transition during the cover period. The Biology Teacher is expected to contribute to the department's focus on deep conceptual understanding and rapid student progress in practical and theoretical biology. This maternity cover role requires a committed Biology Teacher to maintain the department's exceptional outcomes. The school is seeking a skilled and experienced Biology Teacher who is ready to assume responsibility quickly, including running complex laboratory sessions.
