A welcoming Primary School in the London Borough of Bexley is seeking an experienced Data Manager to join its dedicated support staff team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and analytical professional who understands the importance of accurate data in supporting pupil progress and whole-school improvement.

The successful candidate will oversee the school's management information systems while ensuring attendance, assessment and pupil information is accurate, secure and readily available. Working closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, you will manage all aspects of the school's data systems, produce detailed reports for senior leaders and governors, coordinate statutory returns and ensure all pupil information is maintained to the highest standard.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining Arbor, Bromcom or SIMS databases
  • Processing admissions and leavers
  • Managing assessment data
  • Producing attendance and attainment reports
  • Supporting census returns
  • Ensuring compliance with GDPR legislation
  • Providing guidance and training for staff using management information systems
  • Reviewing existing reporting procedures
  • Identifying opportunities to improve administrative efficiency across the school

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and exceptional attention to detail. Previous experience within a school data environment is highly desirable.
