A high-performing secondary school in Waltham Forest is seeking an experienced Behaviour Manager to join its pastoral team.
Previous school-based experience is essential, ideally in behaviour management, pastoral support, inclusion or student services. Current Waltham Forest vacancies show Behaviour Manager roles with full-time permanent arrangements and an immediate/as-soon-as-possible start.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing daily behaviour incidents
- Leading targeted behaviour interventions
- Supporting students with persistent concerns
- Working closely with Heads of Year
- Communicating with parents and carers
- Supporting restorative conversations
- Maintaining accurate behaviour records
- Supporting reintegration following sanctions
- Providing behaviour information to senior leaders
About You
- Youβll need to be calm, consistent and confident when dealing with challenging situations.
- Experience with SEMH, safeguarding, restorative practice or complex behaviour would be advantageous.
