A welcoming and well-established Primary School in Bath is looking for a practical, dependable and proactive Site Supervisor to take responsibility for the day-to-day condition, safety and security of the school premises.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in maintaining a high-quality school environment and is confident dealing with maintenance issues, contractors, health and safety requirements and general site responsibilities.

The Site Supervisor will have a varied working day and will need to be comfortable moving between planned maintenance tasks and unexpected issues that need immediate attention.

You will carry out regular inspections of the school site, identifying problems with buildings, classrooms, outdoor areas, equipment and facilities. Where appropriate, you will complete minor repairs yourself and ensure more significant issues are reported and dealt with by the appropriate contractor.

Health and safety will be a central responsibility. You will help ensure that potential hazards are identified quickly and that school procedures are followed. You may also assist with compliance checks, emergency procedures and maintaining relevant site records.

The successful candidate will also support the security of the school. This may include opening and securing buildings, monitoring access and ensuring visitors and contractors follow the school's procedures.

You will work closely with the school leadership team, office staff, teachers and external contractors. A professional and helpful approach is essential, particularly when responding to requests from colleagues.

Site Supervisor - Experience and Requirements
