A high-performing secondary school in the Basingstoke area is looking to appoint a dedicated Examinations Officer on a full-time, permanent basis from September 2026.

The Role

You'll oversee the administration of all internal and external examinations, ensuring every stage of the process runs smoothly.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing examination entries, timetables, and results

  • Ensuring full compliance with JCQ and awarding body regulations

  • Coordinating examination invigilators, including recruitment and training

  • Liaising with staff, students, parents, and examination boards

  • Supporting access arrangements alongside the SEND team

  • Maintaining the secure handling of examination papers and confidential data

  • Managing post-results services and examination records

The Successful Candidate

Salary & Benefits

  • Β£27,780–£30,564 FTE (pro rata: Β£24,371–£26,814)

  • Permanent position

  • September 2026 start

  • 37 hours per week

  • 40 weeks per year
