The Role

As a GeographyTeacher, you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons across KS3–KS5, helping students develop a deep understanding of both physical and human Geography.

You will play an active role in shaping learning experiences, raising attainment, and contributing to a vibrant and ambitious curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Geographyacross Key Stages 3, 4, and 5

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons

  • Inspire curiosity about the world and global issues

  • Develop students’ analytical, literacy, and exam skills

  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress effectively

  • Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment

  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the department

  • Support wider school life and extracurricular activities

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Has a genuine passion for Geographyand education

  • Holds a degree in Geographyor a related subject

  • Has QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Has experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Geography(KS5 desirable)

  • Is an engaging and reflective classroom practitioner

  • Builds strong relationships with students and staff

  • Is committed to high standards and ongoing development
