About the Role

Key Responsibilities
Teach a Year 4 class across the full Key Stage 2 curriculum
Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that inspire and challenge pupils
Support pupils in developing strong literacy, numeracy, and reasoning skills
Assess progress and provide high-quality feedback to pupils and parents
Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting procedures
Create a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school initiatives
Support enrichment activities and the wider life of the school

Candidate Requirements
Essential Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil wellbeing
Desirable
Experience teaching Year 4
Experience working in an outstanding or high-performing primary school
Ability to contribute to extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities
A commitment to wider school life and continuous professional development
