A high-performing secondary school and sixth form in Barnet is looking to appoint a passionate and committed Teacher of Science with the ability to teach A-Level Chemistry for a permanent, part-time position starting in September 2026. The Role

  • Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, with a specialist focus on A-Level Chemistry

Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • A degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related Science discipline

  • Direct experience teaching Chemistry up to A-Level and general science to GCSE

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • The legal right to work in the UK

Salary & Hours

  • Salary: M1 – UPS3 (Outer London Pay Scale)

  • Hours: Part-time (Up to 0.6 FTE equivalent)
