We are working with a high-performing independent school in Barnet to find a scholarly and articulate Teacher of RE for a permanent, full-time position. Starting ASAP, the school is looking for a specialist who can deliver high-quality Religion, Philosophy, and Ethics (RPE) lessons. The department is a hub of intellectual rigour, encouraging students to engage with global faiths and complex ethical debates in a tranquil, well-ordered setting.

The Role

  • Teach RPE across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for A-Level Philosophy.
  • Lead inquiry-based seminars that challenge students' critical thinking.

The Person

  • QTS and a degree in Theology, Philosophy, or Religious Studies.
