The Role

  • Teaching general Science up to GCSE and leading key blocks of A-Level Chemistry

  • Planning and delivering practical, hands-on lessons that make science engaging

  • Supporting students of all abilities to maintain high standards of progress

  • Working collaboratively within the faculty to share planning and resources

Requirements

Applicants must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • A degree in a core Scientific discipline, with strong subject knowledge in Chemistry

  • Experience teaching UK curriculum Science to GCSE and Chemistry to Key Stage 5

  • Strong classroom management skills

  • The legal right to work in the UK

Salary & Hours

  • Salary: M1 – UPS3 (Outer London Pay Scale)

  • Hours: Part-time (Up to 0.6 FTE equivalent)
