A high-achieving school in Barnet is recruiting a meticulous Senior Science Technician to lead the support for the Biology curriculum, with an emphasis on ecology, from January 2026.
You will be responsible for preparing all Biology practicals, maintaining the school's greenhouse and pond/ecology areas, and managing the specialized equipment (microscopes, models). This role is key to ensuring the success of A-Level practical endorsements and field trips.
Experience and Qualifications- Significant experience as a Science Technician, specializing in Biology up to A-Level.
- Strong expertise in microscopy, dissection, culturing, and maintaining biological samples/ecosystems.
- Excellent knowledge of CLEAPSS and safety regulations related to biological materials.
