An established and well-regarded three-form entry primary school in Barnet is seeking a part-time Year 2 Teacher to join their team from April 2026. The position will initially run until the end of the academic year (July 2026), with the opportunity to move onto a permanent contract from September 2026. The Role
The school is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to work part-time within a strong and well-organised Key Stage 1 team. As part of a three-form entry structure, you will benefit from shared planning, established schemes of work, and the support of experienced colleagues. Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons for Year 2 pupils.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – no ECTs for this post.
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
