Wayman Education is pleased to recruit a dedicated Nursery Practitioner for a busy Early Years setting in Barnet.
The successful Nursery Practitioner will support day-to-day nursery routines, deliver small-group activities that develop early language and physical skills, and help maintain safe, stimulating indoor and outdoor environments. The Nursery Practitioner will work closely with the nursery lead to observe, assess and plan for children’s next steps. This position is perfect for an experienced Nursery Practitioner who values teamwork and high-quality provision.

- Start Date – January 2026
- Contract – Permanent / Term-time (flexible hours considered)
The Role
As Nursery Practitioner, you will set up learning environments, deliver focused group activities, support personal care and hygiene, and record observations to inform planning. The Nursery Practitioner will support transitions, parents’ meetings and contribute to safeguarding and welfare procedures. The appointed Nursery Practitioner will be expected to commence work in January 2026 and to take part in induction and planning from January 2026. The role is based in Barnet and will involve close partnership with families in Barnet.
