We are working with an Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" mixed secondary school in Barnet recruiting for a Chemistry Teacher. This is a full-time maternity cover position starting ASAP.
The Role
- You will teach Chemistry across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
- The role involves delivering high-level practical and theoretical lessons to academically ambitious students within a well-resourced Science department.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering Chemistry lessons that challenge and inspire students
- Preparing Year 11 and Year 13 students for their upcoming public examinations
- Managing laboratory practicals with the support of a dedicated technician team
- Participating in departmental moderation and collaborative planning
- Maintaining "Outstanding" standards of teaching and learning
