ASAP Start | Full-Time | Permanent | Monday to Friday | 8:00am–4:30pm | £29,000–£32,000
A successful secondary school in Barnet is looking for an experienced Admissions Officer to join its administration team on a permanent basis.
You will take responsibility for the day-to-day admissions process, acting as a key contact for prospective families and working closely with the school office, senior leaders and external organisations.
The Role

Manage applications, admissions enquiries and supporting documentation.

Maintain accurate pupil and applicant records.

Liaise with parents, carers, schools and the Local Authority.

Coordinate admissions appointments, visits and meetings.

Keep admissions data and school systems up to date.

Support transition and new pupil arrangements.

Prepare correspondence and provide regular updates where required.
What We're Looking For

Previous experience in school admissions or a similar education administration role.

Excellent organisation and attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication.

Confident using databases, Excel and Microsoft Office.

Ability to manage confidential information appropriately.

Professional and approachable manner when dealing with families.
Experience with SIMS, Arbor or another school MIS would be advantageous.
