An Independent School in Tunbridge Wells is seeking an enthusiastic and organised Art Technician to support its thriving Art department. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a creative environment where students are encouraged to develop their artistic skills, imagination and confidence.
The successful candidate will support the preparation and delivery of Art lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5. You will be responsible for preparing materials, organising resources, maintaining equipment and ensuring that specialist teaching spaces remain safe, organised and fully equipped.
Responsibilities will include preparing paints, ceramics equipment, textiles resources, printmaking materials and mixed media supplies. You will support teachers with lesson preparation, assist with displays and exhibitions and contribute to the smooth running of the department on a daily basis.
The role requires strong organisational skills, practical ability and a genuine enthusiasm for creative education. The school is seeking an individual who can work independently, use initiative and contribute positively to a busy department.
