About the Role

- Supporting the work of cleaners, contractors and premises staff

- Conducting regular health & safety checks, including fire safety and compliance logs
- Responding quickly to emergency issues related to site safety or maintenance
- Maintaining stocks of equipment and site supplies, and managing deliveries
- Ensuring all areas of the school are safe, accessible and well-maintained for daily use
Experience and Qualifications
- Previous caretaking, site maintenance or facilities experience desirable
- Strong practical skills across basic repairs, maintenance and DIY
- Good understanding of health & safety, safeguarding and site security
- Ability to communicate well with staff, students and contractors
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently
- Reliable, proactive and able to prioritise tasks effectively
Salary: Support staff scale, dependent on experience.
