We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Payroll and Project Coordinator to manage payroll processing and support project coordination activities. This dual-role position ensures accurate and timely payroll execution while also assisting in the set up and implementation of our new payroll system.
Key Responsibilities- Payroll Administration
- Process weekly/monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with legislation, pay agreements and company policies.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in compensation.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance to ensure accurate statutory deductions, and other payroll-related entries are processed.
- Prepare payroll reports and reconcile discrepancies.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and deductions.
- Assist in planning and scheduling project timelines and deliverables.
- Track project progress and update stakeholders on milestones and deadlines.
- Maintain documentation and work with the team to set up, test and implement new payroll.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met on time.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing.
