We are March, the UK's leading provider of critical engineering services. Our expertise as a multi-disciplinary engineering partner across infrastructure, process and digital services has led to long term partnerships with leading organisations in everything from food and drink and utilities to high-security industries such as defence, aerospace and nuclear. We are now looking for additional Heating Engineers to join our team in Aberdeen and surrounding areas. Projects will be based across the North of Scotland, including (but not limited to): Highland, Moray, Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, legislation and procedures.
  • Installations, inspections and diagnosing problems/faults within commercial heating systems. This includes boilers, pipework, plant and equipment.
  • Carry out tasks within agreed timeframes.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faults, providing effective solutions to minimise downtime.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communication to clients and team members.

Skills and Experiences

  • SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Heating & Ventilation
  • ECS / CSCS card
  • Welding experience desirable but not essential.
  • Commercial Gas Safe qualifications desirable, but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and pipework installation.
  • Mechanical/heating background in construction/engineering
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings & specification
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • A full driving licence is essential
