We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Electrician to join our team in Falmouth. Working across site and workshop environments, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical installations and maintenance across water and wastewater treatment projects. Reporting to the Project Manager or Project Engineer, you’ll contribute to the safe, efficient delivery of critical infrastructure that supports essential services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carrying out electrical installation, maintenance, and diagnostics on process plant and associated equipment
- Working across water and wastewater treatment sites, pumping stations, and dosing systems
- Manufacturing, installing, and maintaining electrical panels
- Installing and maintaining cabling, conduit systems, and instrumentation
- Supporting testing, inspection, and fault-finding activities
- Supervising apprentices and supporting other trades where required
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard
- Updating drawings and documentation, including contributing to As-Built records
- Identifying improvements, raising issues, and supporting efficient project delivery
- Maintaining strong health, safety, and environmental standards at all times
Skills, Experiences & Qualifications:
- Experience in industrial electrical installation
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental practices on site
- ECS card and relevant trade qualification
- Design, Erection & Verification qualification e.g. C&G 2400 or equivalent
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- NVQ Level 3 / ONC (or equivalent)
- Previous experience within the water industry is preferred
- Inspection & Testing qualification
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Strong team player with the ability to organise workload
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer-focused with a professional approach
