Our client, a welcoming and well-established school, is seeking a friendly, organised and professional School Secretary to join their administration team on a temporary, term-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator who enjoys working in a busy school environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service to pupils, parents, staff and visitors.

As the first point of contact for the school, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the reception and administrative function.

Weds: 8:30am-4pm) Key Responsibilities Welcome visitors and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.

Answer telephone calls and respond to routine enquiries.

Prepare correspondence, reports and general administration.

Coordinate parent tours and professional visits.

Communicate school information to parents and staff using Arbor.

Record daily pupil attendance.

Support the administration of school trips and events.

Maintain pupil records and undertake general administrative duties.

Key attributes Previous administration or reception experience, ideally within a school.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Confident using Microsoft Office (experience with Arbor is desirable).

Professional, approachable and able to maintain confidentiality.

A flexible, proactive approach and commitment to safeguarding.
