Our client is seeking a proactive and hands-on Print & Embroidery Manager to oversee all aspects of their garment embellishment production. This role combines team leadership with practical, day-to-day machine operation, ensuring production targets are met with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all print and embroidery activities and team members
  • Plan and structure workflow throughout the year, including bulk DTF transfer production in quiet periods
  • Manage and train seasonal staff during peak periods
  • Operate, maintain, and clean machinery
  • Oversee use of the Plotter (vinyl transfer machine)
  • Support embroidery production, including operating and overseeing the embroidery machine
  • Inspect products for accuracy, detect and correct stitching or production defects, and regulate machine settings
  • Liaise with external screen printers to coordinate weekly job flows
  • Work closely with the Order Fulfilment team to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Provide guidance on logo size, placement, and design feasibility
  • Order supplies
  • Drive the Company van as required

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Strong competency in Adobe Illustrator (essential)
  • Previous experience with DTF printing, plotters, or embroidery machinery is advantageous (full training is provided)
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to work well under pressure, particularly during peak seasons
  • Strong organisational and workflow management skills
  • Full UK driving licence (required for occasional van driving)
