Our client are looking for a compassionate, organised and proactive Administrator to support the day-to-day running of their independent living community. Working alongside the Manager, you will help provide a safe, welcoming and well-maintained environment where residents can live independently with dignity and security.
Hours: Part-Time, Weds-Fri, 16.5 hours
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate repairs and liaise with contractors.
- Carry out routine health and safety and compliance checks.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Assist with resident arrivals, departures and property allocations.
- Monitor the condition, safety and cleanliness of the estate.
- Support the wellbeing and independence of residents.
- Respond to resident enquiries and welfare concerns, including safeguarding issues.
Key attributes
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- The ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- An understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- A caring and professional approach when working with older and vulnerable people.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
