Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Director of Marketing & Communications to lead and deliver a high-impact marketing and communications strategy that drives revenue growth, builds brand authority and increases market share.

This is a senior leadership role with budget ownership and line management responsibility, ideal for a strategic marketer who is equally comfortable at board level and in hands-on delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver the marketing and communications strategy to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Own and manage the marketing budget, performance reporting and KPIs.
  • Plan and execute integrated, omni-channel campaigns across digital, content, events and PR.
  • Protect and develop the brand and value proposition, ensuring consistent messaging.
  • Oversee content, website, SEO/SEM and social media to increase awareness, engagement and lead generation.
  • Partner with sales, senior leadership and product teams to support demand creation.
  • Lead webinars, events and market research activity to strengthen brand impact.
  • Manage internal communications to align employees with external messaging.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing marketing team.
  • Support international and global network engagement where required.
Key attributes
  • Proven senior marketing leadership experience within a complex, regulated or professional services environment.
  • Strong commercial focus with demonstrable success in driving revenue through marketing activity.
  • Experience delivering integrated, omni-channel campaigns across digital, content, events and PR.
  • Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, website optimisation and performance analytics.
  • Confident budget holder with robust reporting and KPI management experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive level.
  • People leadership experience, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
  • Experience working in accreditation, standards, training, advisory or similar sectors is advantageous.
