Overview:
As a Junior Social Media & Communications Manager, you will support HEA Marketing in delivering engaging, performance-driven social media activity. You’ll work across multiple platforms, localising global and EU content, curating UGC and creator assets, supporting campaign execution, and helping shape content that resonates locally. This is a creative, collaborative role that offers opportunities to grow your skills and take ownership of briefs, content testing, and performance reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Co-curate and localise Global, EU, and UGC content, ensuring cultural relevance, brand alignment, and optimisation for local social performance.
- Support the creation of division-specific social content plans and calendars, aligned with wider marketing priorities and campaign initiatives.
- Develop clear, social-first briefs for creators, agencies, internal teams, and content partners to drive platform-native and engaging output.
- Coordinate product samples for creators, media, and content creation needs, including logistics, tracking, and stakeholder communications.
- Monitor KPI performance and contribute to monthly reporting, providing insights, recommendations, and optimisation opportunities for paid and organic social activity.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align priorities, respond to requests promptly, and stay up to date with social trends and best practices.
Key competencies:
- Strong understanding of major social platforms and content formats (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn).
- Confidence in curating and adapting content for local audiences and platform best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
- Creative mindset with a strong eye for social content that feels current and relevant.
- Comfortable working with budgets and tracking spend responsibly (with support).
