Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts professional to join their team, playing a key role in financial reporting, tax compliance, and credit control across UK and European operations. Covering daily accounting duties, as well as Management Accounts and the ability to cover for Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- General accounting tasks, including journal entries & reconciliations
- Managing fixed assets & Capex reporting
- Preparing & filing tax and VAT returns across multiple jurisdictions
- Assisting with external audits & financial reporting
- Supporting budget preparation and financial audits
- Credit control for UK & European customers
- Bank reconciliations & processing vendor invoices
- Assisting with budget preparation & lease reporting
Key Attributes
- Ideally someone who is Part-Qualified (CIMA preferred, ACCA/ACA considered).
- Strong Excel skills & experience with ERP systems (Syteline ideal)
- Excellent analytical & organizational skills
- Ability to work independently & within a small team
- Foreign language skills (French/German) are a plus!
